What is the Great American Cleanup?
The Keep America Beautiful® Great American Cleanup® stands as the nation's largest community enhancement initiative, occurring annually across nearly 20,000 communities nationwide. The Great American Cleanup® mobilizes over 500,000 volunteers and participants, whose work returns, on average, more than $100 million in measurable benefits across thousands of participating communities. Through programs like the Great American Cleanup®, Keep America Beautiful® and it’s affiliates transform public places into beautiful spaces helping to make communities that are environmentally healthy, socially connected, and economically sound.

How Can I Participate?
The Keep America Beautiful® Great American Cleanup® season begins in March and runs until the end of May. The overall goal is to unite communities through volunteer efforts focused on litter clean-up and beautification, fulfilling the needs of each community. Keep Maury Beautiful typically holds 2-3 Great American Cleanup® events in April of each year.
